Maybe they should call this an agree-bate between a Republicrat and a Demopublican.

If you want change, vote Barbara Howe, Libertarian for Governor http://www.lpnc.org

Thanks for giving concerned and voting taxpayers a good running account of today's debate. WRAL is to be commended for making this debate happen. It's so unfortunate the Governor wouldn't agree to more time and more debates.

If you want to see the advertisement the Board of Elections has attempted to censor, I think the Internet is your best bet. The Internet encounters censorship and treats it as interference, and routes around it.

Two good spots:

and

Meanwhile, thanks to WRAL for working hard to make ANY debate happen, and for hosting this debate. Would it be too much to ask to add it to your streaming content on your fabulous website?

By the way... the censored advertisement is getting a lot of circulation on the net. Is it possible it's getting wider play having been censored than it would have otherwise?

Censored ads is bad enough but when the major political parties censor the news, we are in big trouble. I guess we ARE in big trouble!

It's too bad WRAL decided to deny Barbara Howe her rightful place at the table.

SHAME!!!

Barbara Howe would have at least brought some civility to this shouting match of who had the worst character.

I would like to see, for a change, candidates talk about the issues.

For WRAL to exclude Barbara Howe, is astonishing to me. She would have talked about the real issues.

Barbara who? Isn't that the person who is on the ballot every year? ... just like Mickey Mouse and Elvis are "write in" candidates every year?

WRAL-TV made the correct decision by inviting only the two serious candidates.
